Rivers State Authorities has accredited the development of a brand new flyover measuring 505 metres on the GRA junction alongside the Port Harcourt Aba Expressway.

The Commissioner for Works, Austin Ben-Chioma, who spoke in Port Harcourt on Thursday, stated the approval was given on the state Govt Council assembly chaired by Governor Nyesom Wike.

Ben-Chioma stated the council additionally accredited the dualisation of Ezimbu Hyperlink street connecting Stadium Street from GRA junction and the Tombia street extension linking Ikwerre street.

He stated council thought of the Rumuola flyover as not becoming for the town and accredited its enlargement to develop into 4 lanes to ease vehicular motion and increase financial actions.

“To make sure that motorists don’t endure untold hardship in the course of the street constructions, the state authorities will create different routes”, he stated.
