A member of the Delta State Native Authorities Service Fee, Hon. (Mrs.) Catherine Ilolo, has died.
The previous lawmaker reportedly handed on Monday night time, at an undisclosed hospital in Oleh, Isoko South council space of the state.
She was 60 years previous and a local of Oleh group.
Circumstances surrounding her loss of life weren’t clear as of the time of submitting this report, however sources declare that she had complained of some type of discomfort in her physique over the weekend.
“She returned from Asaba and had gone to the hospital with the husband on Monday, however died at night time,” a supply disclosed.
Hon. Ilolo was appointed by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, alongside 4 others in July 2019, to symbolize Delta South within the Fee.
She was the primary lady to emerge as a lawmaker in Isoko South Constituency 1, on the Delta State Home of Meeting in 1991.
Her tenure was nonetheless, truncated by the then army authorities.
Late Catherine Ilolo was among the many lsoko South native authorities committee that supervised the distribution of COVID-19 palliatives to susceptible individuals throughout the council space, in April.
Her demise comes two weeks after a commissioner within the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Growth Fee (DESOPADEC), Hon Joyce Overah, handed on after a short sickness.
