The Federal Authorities is to evacuate 1,000 Nigerians this week, the Presidential Taskforce (PTF) has stated.
Over 4,000 Nigerians are stranded internationally following the worldwide lockdown occasioned by the COVID-19 pandemic.
As at June 13, 1,523 Nigerians have been evacuated.
PTF Coordinator, Dr. Sani Aliyu, disclosed in the course of the every day briefing of the Process Power that 500 evacuees would land in Abuja and the opposite 500 in Lagos.
He stated they are going to be coming in beneath the brand new evacuation protocol, which calls for for a pre-evacuation check and 14-day self isolation on arrival towards the previous authorities -monitored isolation in resorts.
