The Federal Street Security Corps (FRSC) on Saturday rescued an expectant lady  struggling to drive herself to hospital amid labour ache.

Mr Bisi Kazeem, the FRSC spokesman, who disclosed this in a press release on Sunday, mentioned that this occurred in Lagos.

He mentioned {that a} patrol workforce belonging to the Airport Unit Command of the Corps, at about 2.34 p.m. sighted the pregnant lady.

“She was struggling to drive amidst painful labour and was rushed to a close-by hospital in Ajao Property, the place she was delivered of a child woman barely three hours later,” he mentioned.

Kazeem defined that the gesture was a part of the Corps statutory accountability of saving lives by means of immediate rescue providers on the roads.

Kazeem mentioned that Corps Marshal Dr Boboye Oyeyemi has expressed deep appreciation to the patrol workforce for the immediate intervention and rescue providers.
