The Cross River Authorities in collaboration with Peace Corps Nigeria have intercepted and despatched again no fewer than 11 vehicles carrying Almajiri, on the Gakem-Benue boundary of the state.
Head of the taskforce workforce on the border, Mr Omang-Idiege, who made this identified on Thursday, mentioned the vehicles have been intercepted and returned to their factors of origin.

Idiege, the Commissioner for Youth Growth and Ability Acquisition, mentioned the train had taken place between Could four and Could 17, including that the taskforce had continued to keep up a gradual presence on the boundary.
In line with him, it was the will of the state Governor, Ben Ayade, to make sure that the state stay COVID-19 free, therefore the efficient boundary surveillance.
