The College of Lagos on Sunday has requested staff to not resume till it put in place a phased timetable for resumption.
An announcement signed by the establishment’s registrar, Mr. Oladejo Azeez, famous that solely staff on important duties had been anticipated at work.
The assertion reads: “The Administration of the College of Lagos at its assembly held on Tuesday April 28, 2020 reviewed the directive of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, in regards to the phased and gradual easing of lockdown measures within the FCT, Ogun and Lagos states scheduled to begin on Monday, Could 4, 2020.
“Administration resolved that members of employees shouldn’t resume on Monday, Could 4, 2020 to allow ample measures to be put in place for a phased resumption.
“Members of Workers are hereby suggested to await the Schedule of Resumption of Obligation which will probably be launched soonest.
In the meantime, Workers on important duties, comparable to Works and Bodily Planning Unit (Energy), Safety, in addition to College and Hostel Porters ought to be at their obligation posts.”
