The Cross River Police Command, on Tuesday, confirmed the killing of two suspected cultists in Ugep neighborhood in Yakurr Native Authorities Space of the state.
The State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Irene Ugbo, confirmed the incident in a phone interview with Information Company of Nigeria in Calabar.
Ugbo mentioned that one of many suspected cultists was killed on Monday, April 20 by members of a rival cult group, whereas the opposite was killed on April 21 by an offended mob within the space.
She informed NAN that the suspected cultist, who was mobbed, had been terrorising the folks of the Ugep and neighbouring communities.
“I can verify that two suspected cultists have been killed in Ugep neighborhood.

Okoi mentioned that the suspected cultist mobbed, popularly known as J-boy, “has killed lots of people in Ugep and he’s additionally into armed theft’’.
